Sites will choose one of the two 2016 MSTCVS Quality Collaborative Performance Indexes above. BCBSM has approved an adjusted FTE model (for 2016 only) for those hospitals participating in data collection for the pneumonia prevention initiative.
- Sites not participating in the pneumonia prevention initiative
- Continue the current FTE reimbursement model for MSTCVS participation is based on 1.0 FTE for 400 adult cardiac surgery cases entered into the STS database and use the 2016 Hospital CQI Performance Index.
- Sites participating in the pneumonia prevention initiative
- Use the adjusted FTE model of 1.0 FTE for 367 adult cardiac surgery cases entered into the STS database and use the 2016 Hospital CQI Performance Index – Pneumonia Prevention Site Participants.
Sites choosing to participate in the pneumonia prevention initiative will need to access to the REDCap database.
