Membership Qualifications
Active Membership (Surgeon) Qualifications
Thoracic and cardiovascular surgeons certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery or the American Board of Osteopathic Surgery shall be eligible for active membership. Active members must be thoracic and cardiovascular surgeons who are employed in the field of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery or in leadership positions within their health care system.
Application Requirements
- Certification from the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
- Provide names of two MI licensed thoracic/cardiovascular surgeons outside your own group who will provide references for this application. *They must be current MSTCVS Members
Annual dues (Payable upon acceptance)
$300 ~
Associate Membership (Non Physicians) Qualifications
Scientists at the doctorate level conducting research in the field of thoracic surgery, cardiologists, physician assistants, perfusionists, nurses, nurse practitioners, practice administrators, data managers and other non-physician allied health care professionals who support and work directly with thoracic surgeons shall be eligible for Associate membership.

$150 ~
